AEDOC is a document-recovery product from FirstLight Labs. This notice explains what information AEDOC uses to diagnose and recover your files.

Information we process

We process the account information needed to sign you in, the documents you choose to upload, recovery results, and limited service data needed to operate, secure, and improve AEDOC. Payment details are handled by our payment provider; AEDOC receives the transaction status and identifiers needed to unlock a recovery.

How we use it

We use this information to provide document diagnosis and recovery, control access to your downloads, process purchases, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain service security.

Retention and analytics

Each recovery shows its own expiry time. Free-diagnosis files are normally kept for three days, while a verified Rescue Pass purchase extends that recovery to 30 days from payment. You can request deletion earlier from the recovery screen.

Your account dashboard shows recovery totals for the most recent 90 days.

Service providers and security

We use service providers for cloud hosting, identity, payments, and operational monitoring. We limit access to what is needed for those services and use encryption in transit and at rest in production. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can delete an active recovery from its recovery screen. For privacy questions or requests concerning your account, email hello@aedoc.app.
