AEDOC accepts Word documents and templates (.docx, .docm, .dotx, .dotm) and Excel spreadsheets and templates (.xlsx, .xlsm, .xltx, .xltm, .xlsb) up to 1 GiB. Recovery depends on the damage; .xlsb repair currently has narrower coverage. VBA parts are preserved but never run, and macro behavior and digital signatures are not validated. Older .doc and .xls files, encrypted files, and PowerPoint presentations are not supported.
Sign-in restricts access to your own recoveries. Each job shows its expiry time, and you can request deletion earlier. Production storage uses encryption in transit and at rest.
No repair tool can recover data that is truly missing. The report separates supported repairs, remaining damage, and known limitations. Data that is missing cannot be recreated reliably.
The repair pipeline is built around minimum necessary change. Valid package parts are kept intact whenever possible.
